Briefly explain what the position means to you and show enthusiasm, without going overboard. It’s important that the recruiter feels you’re genuinely interested in the role. You can highlight a specific aspect of the company or the position that appeals to you.

Also, use this paragraph to mention your professional experience. If you have years of experience in the field, mention that early on, as it helps build credibility and piques the recruiter’s interest. Talk about the main roles you’ve had in your career and how they align with the responsibilities of the position you’re applying for. Be direct, but also maintain a polite and professional tone. Second paragraph: Highlight your skills and achieved results

The second paragraph is where you’ll dive into your skills that are directly applicable to the position. Show that you have the necessary technical knowledge for the role. This is the part where you should talk about the tools you’re proficient in, the methodologies you master, and the key competencies you’ve developed throughout your career.

To make this paragraph even more impactful, it’s a good idea to present tangible results you’ve achieved in previous roles. Recruiters love seeing examples of how you’ve contributed to the success of a company or project. Quantifiable results (such as increased sales, reduced costs, or improved customer satisfaction) are especially effective, as they give an idea of your commitment and capability in the role.

Third paragraph: Discuss your portfolio, the company, and your availability

This shows that you’ve researched the company and aren’t just sending a generic letter to any job posting.

Also, mention your portfolio (if applicable) and how it can complement your resume and cover letter, giving the recruiter a deeper look at your skills and achievements.
